Finish options include broom finish, exposed aggregate, stenciled or stamped, with or without decorative borders, in a variety of colors.

Concrete Driveway Installation & Replacement

Driveways take a beating: freeze-thaw cycles, vehicle weight, water. We do the sub-base, reinforcement, and finishing with precision so yours holds up through Western New York winters for years, not seasons.

Concrete Patio Installation & Replacement

A patio is only as good as what's underneath it. We collaborate with you the design, pitch it for drainage, reinforce it for longevity, and finish it to your spec.

Concrete Sidewalks & Walkways

Properly pitched, properly reinforced, properly finished. Walkways that are safe, clean, and built to last.

Concrete Pool Decks

Pool decks with precise drainage, slip-resistant finishes, and surfaces that hold up against water, chemicals, and constant foot traffic.

Garage Floor Slabs

A solid garage floor starts with a properly prepped sub-base and the right concrete mix. We pour and finish floors that resist cracking and hold up under vehicle traffic and seasonal temperature changes.

Concrete Steps Installation & Replacement

Properly formed, reinforced, and finished concrete steps improve safety, drainage, and long-term durability for home or business entryways and outdoor areas.

Common Questions About Flatwork

How long does a concrete driveway installation take?

Most residential driveway projects run two to three days from tear-out to finished pour. Curing takes an additional two weeks before the surface can handle vehicle traffic, and sealing is done around 28 days after installation.

What is exposed aggregate concrete?

Exposed aggregate is a finish where the top layer of cement paste is washed away during installation to reveal the decorative stone beneath. It provides a textured, slip-resistant surface and a distinctive appearance compared to a standard broom finish.

What's the difference between a broom finish and exposed aggregate?

A broom finish is the standard residential concrete finish — the surface is brushed while wet to create a uniform, slip-resistant texture. Exposed aggregate reveals the stone in the mix and has a more decorative, varied appearance. Both are durable. The choice comes down to preference and budget.

How long does concrete need to cure before I can use it?

Seven days for foot traffic, 28 days for full vehicle use. Concrete reaches most of its strength in the first week but continues to cure for 28 days. We walk every customer through this at project completion.

Do I need a permit for a concrete driveway or patio in Western New York?

Permit requirements vary by municipality. In many Erie County towns, residential flatwork does not require a permit, but replacement projects or work near a right-of-way may. We can advise based on your specific location and project scope before work begins.
